Across My Desk - New Things This July
So much goodness has come across my desk this July, and me being me, well I want to give more context than just an Instagram story, so here I am wrapping up the things I have tried this July, and how I feel about them!
P.S I really wanted to name this segment “New Tings” because I have been watching alot of Love Island UK and well, if you know, you know.
Here are the new things across my desk this July:
Beauty:
Elizabeth Arden Great 8 Eight Hour Daily Defense Moisturiser (RRP$69 for 45ml)
When this first arrived, I pulled it out that night and used it as a night cream. My face was dry. I guess, I didn’t even look at the packaging I just new it had the Eight Hour magic in it and would sort me out! Well a week I have decided I am going to use Elizabeth Arden Great 8 Eight Hour Daily Defense Moisturiser as a primer before makeup - tapping into its core values that it is an all in one moisturise, sunscreen, daily protector and perfector with no white cast or residue. I will be continuing to use this product.
L’Oreal Paris Revitalift (from RRP$44.99)
L’Oreal has came out with a new range about Anti-Anging and it is the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Glycolic Peel Pads which are of interest here. The 30 pre-soaked pads contain a 9.6% Glycolic Acid complex that exfoliates the ski, helps to reduce wrinkles and even skin tone and texture. At this stage im not to sure if this is the product for me but at approx $1.50 per pad, its not to bad when you look at the market!
Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Fluid SPF 50 Facial Sunscreen
This product arrived, and well it really is a reminder that these beautiful sunny winter days can still be damaging on the skin. You only have one face, so you better look after it.
Health
Hemp products have been all the range this month and after reading about Hemp, I have been adding into my diet daily. Hemp is great for protein, it is high in omegas, amino acids vitamins and minerals and has a high fibre content. Two brands sent me Hemp Products and they compliment each other well!
Love Organics Gluten Free Hemp Muesli (RRP$16.95)
Love Organics’ hemp breakfast range combines all the goodness of the amazingly nutritious and delicious hemp seed, along with a variety of nourishing nuts, fruit and ancient grains. I pop 20grams on top of my Yoghurt and Banana and I have found this an easy way to get more good fats, omega’s and protein into my detail. I also found I was staying fuller for longer. Hemp really is a superfood. I will be buying this guy again for sure!
Matakana Superfoods New Organic Hemp Range.
This range was sent to me and I must say I was super unsure about it BUT again reading all about Hemp I am now a convert! I have been adding the Hemp Hulled Seeds into my smoothies with the Hemp Protein Powder. When looking at hemp products, just note they are a superfood and the prices are a little higher, but a little goes a very long way with hemp!
Listerine Ready! Tabs
This product came across my desk and naturally I popped on out for the fresh breath feeling straight away. These chewable tablets transform from solid to liquid in seconds and leave your mouth feeling as clean as brushing and rinsing at home. They are sugar-free, zero alcohol, gluten free and vegan. You just chew to activate, swish to clean, swallow and go!
